In 1991 Glenn Rowden, with the support of his wife Cynthia, founded Champion Electric Inc. in their small family home in Riverside, California. As Riverside natives, they felt the calling to create a company that would provide Southern California with excellent electrical service and at the same time provide employees with unimagined possibilities of success. Glenn and his ‘Champions’ have grown the business into a large office and warehouse and offer a wide range of electrical services from commercial and residential solar, to Public Works and Federal projects, to general contracting, and a full Service Department. A once small, startup is now your go-to electrical contractor. To quote Glenn,
“We’ll do everything from install a ceiling fan at your home, to installing LED lighting at your business, to building the next High school and everything in between” Today, Glenn is the ambassador of Champion Electric Inc. and represents the Champion brand. He actively participates in the Riverside community with his involvement with Poly High School Football, Sandals Church, and Young Life Riverside. His role as Founder has opened opportunity to be involved in outreach missions to Chile, Vietnam, Mexico and soon Belize. Glenn continues to meet with the President regularly to review current operations and the financial health of the company as well as advise on maintaining consistency of the vision and mission of Champion Electric Inc. His invaluable knowledge, experience, and success will always be a part of the Champion name. |
